Dans le cadre de la CISa 2018, l’un des objectifs de MedCamer est de promouvoir la recherche scientifique en médecine et initier les jeunes médecins à la communication scientifique. A cet occasion , MedCamer met au Concours un prix d’une valeur de 100 000 francs CFA destiné au lauréat de l’épreuve de dénommée ‘’Ma thèse en 180 secondes ‘’. Ce concours  permettra à des doctorant-e-s et des résidant-e-s de d’exposer leur sujet de recherche en termes simples à un auditoire diversifié.

Les candidats potentiels sont :

• Les étudiants en médecine qui préparent une thèse
• Les Médecins récemment (<1an) diplômés
• Les résidents/Internes qui préparent leur DES
• Les médecins ayant récemment (<1an) obtenu leur titre de spécialiste.

Chaque candidat devra faire, en trois minutes, un exposé clair, concis et convaincant sur son projet de recherche devant un jury. Il aura comme support une seule diapositive PowerPoint statique, sans animation, ni transition, ni ‘mouvement’ d’aucune forme . La diapositive devra être présentée dès le début de la présentation.Le candidat ne pourra disposer d’ aucun média électronique (fichiers audio et vidéo…), ni accessoires supplémentaires (par exemple costumes, instruments de musique, matériel de laboratoire) .

Les présentations seront limitées à 3 minutes maximum et les candidats qui dépasseront les 3 minutes seront disqualifiés. Elles présentations devront être des paroles ( aucun poème, rap ou chant) et commencer à partir de la scène.

La décision du panel d’arbitrage sera définitive et sans recours.

Date limite des inscriptions ( titre de thèse et abstract) : 28 février 2018

{:}{:en}As part of the Interdisciplinary Health Conference 2018, one of MedCamer’s goals is to promote scientific research in medicine and to introduce young doctors to scientific communication. On this occasion, MedCamer awards a prize of 100,000 CFA francs to the winner of the « My Thesis in 180 seconds » competition. This competition will allow medical doctors students and residents to present their research topic iin plain language, to a non- specialist audience and a jury. The challenge is to make a scientific topic easily understandable in clear, concise and convincing French or English – and with the help of only one slide.

Potential candidates are:

• Medical students preparing a thesis
• Recently graduated medical doctors (<1 year)
• Residents / Interns who prepare their specialist degree
• Physicians having recently obtained their specialist title (<1 year).

Each candidate will have to give, in three minutes, a clear, concise and convincing presentation, on a static slide (no animation, no transition, no ‘movement’ of any form). The slide should be presented at the beginning of the presentation. The candidate will not have any electronic media (audio and video files …), nor additional accessories (costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment).
The decision of the arbitration panel will be final and without appeal.

Deadline for registration (thesis title and abstract): February 28, 2018

Public Presentations: March 23 and 24, 2018
