This list is an overview of ongoing projects of construction or of achievement by the collective MedCamer.

We are open to any comment, council, expertise and supportthat can improve the performance of these different projects, mounted in the direction of the general interest, and in order to improve the face and the quality of the health system in Cameroon.

Cooperation and trade North/South and South/South to health

• Project PromedCamGab: (improving professionalism in Cameroon and Gabun). Waiting for financing.

Finalized Project in partnership with the department of medical ethics of the University of Hanover, The FMSS of Libreville, The FMSB, FMSP, and UDM of Cameroon. Under evaluation by the DAAD (Deutsche Akademische Austasuch Dienst = German Academic Exchange Program)

• Project AMNES (African Medical Network Society): international project. Purpose/objective: Join the efforts of the various African countries to develop commonly an African medical platform. In construction

Census of human resources and of the structural system of Cameroonian health

• Census of the skills and doctors of the Cameroonian diaspora

• Census of personal and medical specialties of Cameroon

•Census, on-line and information on the structures of national health

• Information on the academic institutions of medical education by category and their human resources.

• Establishment of a system of annual ranking of qualitative health structures and medical university in Cameroon

Establishment of a unified system of creation, storage and exchange of medical information in Cameroon (SUIM)

• IT Project: establishment of a computer system of management, exchanges and archiving of records of sick, as well as a better system of communication between the medical staff.

• RAFT: Support for the Project RAFT (telemedicine project African).

Financing and Management of the health of the doctors and the general population in Cameroon

• Project MUSAME (Mutual Health Physicians): Goal/objective: Health insurance for all medical personnel of Cameroon as well as their families. In construction

• Project FAMILY: establishment of a system of family medicine or district in Cameroon. The hospital is expensive and is in principle the last levels in the gestures of health. Objective of the project is to limit on the one hand the costs to support hospital for patients and on the other hand, offload the hospitals of the cases of family medicine. In construction

• Project « Doctors in the school« : develop and improve in partnership with the ONMC, school medicine l in Cameroon. In construction

• Project ASMA (Health Insurance Cameroon): Purpose/objective: participate in the reflection and the proposals on the establishment of a social system of health insurance in Cameroon. In construction

• Project SAFETY (Patients and Doctors Safety): Purpose/Objective: To develop the reflection, discussion, regulations and legislation related to legal security of doctors and patients in their respective roles in Cameroon.

Assistance Network, mobilization and rapid response in case of emergency or humanitarian catastrophe (RAMIR)

• Project GESU: Global Emergency Service Unit: Project for the establishment of a central management of medical emergencies (UGC). Purpose/Objective: To develop a framework of hardware management, logistical and human coordinated medical emergencies in Cameroon (in construction).
